Parish Schools
The Parish is served by two high-quality, co-educational
primary schools. As part of the Brisbane Catholic
Educational School System they provide the standard
Queensland school curriculum, enhanced by faith
development.
Both Christ the King School,, Graceville, and St. Joseph's School, Corinda are proud of their
warm, welcoming family atmosphere in which each
student, (and family), has a sense of identity, personal
worth and community support. Christ the King School is small, vibrant and active; St. Joseph’s is a multiple stream school which has provided eighty years of Catholic educational service. Both are set in safe locations and are close to road and rail transport. Both schools have a Parents and Friends Association and School Boards. These latter support the Principal in the safeguarding of the Catholic character of the schools by planning and approving policies.
Outside School Hours Care
Outside School Hours Care is offered for
children from both schools involving activities that are safe, supervised and fun, such as arts, crafts, sports, and cooking.
Before School Care 7.00am - 9.00am
After School Care 2.30pm - 6.00pm
Vacation Care 7.00am - 6.00pm

Julia Cumming Community Child Care Centre
This centre is situated opposite Christ the King school. It offers 0—5 year old children day and child care.
