Anyone impacted by the flooding event can apply for housing assistance, including home owners and private renters. Contact the Community Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349 or go to the Queensland Government disaster portal for further information.

- (Australian Government) Services Australia Disaster Payments: $1,000 per adult, or $400 for each child younger than 16 (Not income or asset tested; conditions may apply)
South East Queensland Floods, February 2022 - Natural disaster - Services Australia - Emergency Hardship Assistance grants: Up to $180 per person and $900 for a family of five or more (Not income or asset tested)
